origin story — how it all began —origin story — how it all began —origin story — how it all began —

It only made sense that Greg’s love for design grew out of the breakin' world.

Both require movement, play, attention to rhythm, and stretching the rules to an almost — but not quite — breaking point.

First came the event flyers for jams. Late nights spent at Kinko’s hand-drawing letterforms, scanning, overprinting, and obsessing over the exact right amount of contrast. Trading Muchas Gracias burritos for unlimited printer ink.

Then a full-fledged practice for clients like Google, Apple, Venmo, Under Armour, Beyond Meat, and the Smithsonian Institution. Over the next 15 years, Greg’s work graced murals, posters, packaging, accessories, and, of course, the internet. It’s since evolved to encompass 2D and 3D motion brand identity systems.

In 2024, he officially expanded his one-man team and established Fisk—Studio® to offer a greater range of services to clients, and to expand his team of talented collaborators.
